well not DONE done, but done with my location visits/interviews/photo shoots/explorations/research.

the final 5: A&M (laundry), Economy Candy (CANDY), Eisenbergs Sandwich Shop (greasy food), B Cup (coffee and un-greasy food), and J&M Hardware (tools and such).

amazing places, awesome owners, 14 days to finish issues 2-5!

also, yesterday some of you shared with me a times article about mom & pops, so thanks for that. it was an interesting read.

this site is completely relevant to my project, and i have spent a lot of time on this site. maybe i can use it as another source for finding mom & pop locations…

oh, and the job i speak of is basically walking/driving/traveling around new york city, looking for interesting locations, overlooked places, and things one would never expect to exist. ALL DAY EVERY DAY.
